Utilization of Agroresidues for the Production of Xylanase by Bacillus safensis XPS7 and Optimization of Production Parameters

چکیده

The main objective of this study was to investigate the utilization various agro-industrial wastes such as wheat bran, husk, straw, peanut powder, pomace, corn cobs, rice sawdust and sugarcane bagasse for cost-effective production xylanase by Bacillus safensis XPS7 using one-variable-at-a-time approach. A number bacterial strains were isolated from different locations in cold desert region Himachal Pradesh, India. Among these, hyperproducing strain designated selected optimized identified B. based on 16S rDNA gene analysis. produced maximum (141.28 U/mL) at 45 °C, pH 9, 24 h incubation time, 2% (w/v) straw bran mixture carbon source 1.5% ammonium nitrate nitrogen modified Riviere’s medium. results showed that combination proved be a cheap abundant hyper can used an inexpensive base (carbon source) large scale industrial enzymes. In addition, use waste economic enzymes will also help minimize environmental problems associated with disposal waste.
